Graphic Organizer for Virtual Field Trip







This graphic organizer was used in conjunction with a PBS Kids children's show called Cyberchase. In this episode, the children have to figure out how to add mixed numbers with unlike denominators. Before it was filled out, the students were introduced to the other aspects of fractions, like unit fractions, improper fractions, and whole fractions. After the video was shown, we mimicked what the kids did on the show and made our own examples. The students were excited to see the show and work together to figure out the problems.
